THIS STORY WILL MAKE YOU CONFIDENT • FAIRY TALE STORIES TO READ

A dwarf was on his way home. He was going through the forest humming. His pony was tired. The rider’s voice made the trip even more unnerving.

If the pony could speak, it would have shouted, “Shut up!” to the rider. They kept going.

Somewhere in the forest, a troll was having dinner. The dwarf’s voice reached his ear. He was about to drink his ale but stopped.

The troll stood up and headed to where the song was coming from. The dwarf closed his eyes humming. He opened his eyes and found himself hanging in the air. The troll was holding him like a rabbit in his one hand.

The pony was happy that the song was over. It ran away before the troll turned to notice it.

“It’s been a while since I had a roasted dwarf!” the troll said. The dwarf was trying to set himself free.

“If you let me go, I will show you where you can find even more dwarves.” the dwarf said still struggling to get out of the troll’s hand.

The troll thought for a moment and agreed. The dwarf led the troll to his town. On their way they had to get over the mountain.

“We need to get there fast! We don’t have enough food. If you carry me, we can reach the town faster.” the dwarf suggested. The troll put the dwarf on his shoulder.

They overcame the mountain. The next came a river.

“We need to get to the other side.” the dwarf said. He was the first to cross over the river and waited for the troll. The troll followed and reached the middle of the bridge.

At that moment the bridge collapsed unable to bear the troll’s weight. The dwarf got home safe and sound. His pony was waiting for him.

HOW TO BE CONFIDENT • FAIRY TALE STORIES TO READ • MORAL OF THE STORY

Confidence is not outside but inside everyone of us. Confidence is not about being perfect and having no weaknesses.

On the contrary, confidence is about turning ANY weakness into your strength.

Life is full of surprises. Sometimes, what we see as a weakness may turn out to be our biggest strength. Know and accept both your weaknesses and strengths. When you use both your weaknesses and strengths to your advantage, you become confident.

HOW I BECAME CONFIDENT

In 2017 I started my first website. It was a whole new ball game. I was a total beginner. It was intimidated and scary. I had never done anything like that before. Building a website seemed like something complicated.

I started reading more articles on how to start your own website. Though the articles were enough for me to get the idea of what I should do to build a website, everything was different in practice.

Every next step would bring more challenges that would make me feel angry. I have a different relationship with anger: when I am TRULY angry, I start acting more decisively like a lion that has noticed its prey.

When I am truly angry, I tell myself, “Now I’m going to do it and how!” Nothing, other people’s opinions, comments or hardships can not stop me. True anger pushes me forward. It burns my heart with the desire to get what I want!

This is how I built my first website six years ago. At the beginning it was scary. There was no shadow of confidence in me. However, it did not matter when anger was pushing forward and I was all fired up.

Looking back I can tell you that confidence is when our desire to achieve our goals is stronger than fear. It’s when you don’t care about anything else but getting your work done.
