It was a rainy late afternoon. A man entered a shop. He got some chocolate and gave the shopkeeper $20. He thought, ‘what if the shopkeeper doesn’t have the change?’ The shopkeeper looked around and said, ‘Sorry, Sir. I don’t have the change.’
The man opened his mouth to say something, but didn’t. He saw that his bus had arrived. The man rushed out of the shop with his chocolate in his hand. He was the last one to get on bus. He sat down out of breath.
The man looked out the bus window, but couldn’t but the shopkeeper and the change out of his mind.
‘If I paid $1 less, he wouldn’t let me buy anything, but they can keep the change without any shame. It’s always like this. Man! Nothing comes my way, but goes away. I work harder and more than anyone else, but get paid less. At home Wife doesn’t stop nagging. Even my kids don’t care about me. All they need is my money. What kind of life is this?’ the man thought looking out the bus window.
The angels on his right shoulder heard and recorded everything that he thought of. They shook their heads and said, ‘this guy asks for the same things everyday.’

We all know how powerful our words are: our words can make people fall in love with us. By saying one kindly word we can make someone’s day. Words can bring people together to accomplish a goal.
Do your own research: choose any successful people you admire and listen to their interviews. Pay attention to the choice of their words. You will be shocked: most of them use the words like, “love, excited, amazing” and more.
Imagine that everything you say is an affirmation, a prayer, a wish. Then we would be more careful about the words we say. If you keep telling, claiming and affirming that you will never be successful, guess what you will get?

Before you speak another word, beware: they are recording you. I’m not talking about the words you say out loud. The things we tell ourselves – our inner talk shapes the person you are and you’ll become.
Our inner dialogue and self talk determine how we react in situations or initiate something. Our Mind always tries to play a trick on us. It warns us about millions of ways things can go wrong.
It’s crucial to be aware of the risk that we are to face. However, it should not prevent us from looking at the bright side. Things can go wrong in a million ways, but they can go right equally.
HOW TO BE HAPPY AND CHANGE YOUR LIFE
When we are in the dark, we forget about the light. Instead of trying to find the light, we feel more inclined to curse and condemn it. If you can not find the light, be the light you need.
All you have to do is to choose. Say no to pity parties and say yes to gratitude for what you have. Ironically, we feel most gratitude only after losing things and people we love.
Mind is like a scared little kid. It tends to wander and make fuss over what may or may never happen. Don’t confront your mind. Comfort it. After all, you will get to spend your whole life with your mind.
